The boffins at Bletchley Park played a key role in winning World War II by breaking Nazi codes, most famously their Enigma cipher. Their work was kept secret until the 1970s but this English country house and estate is now open to the public and also houses the National Museum of Computing. At the museum you can see the rebuilt Colossus computer created by the code-breakers during the war.
